Strength & Sensitivity
Join Kimberly & Cynthia for a daylong of nourishing practice and community!
We will explore balancing strength and sensitivity in our practice and life. When we are too focused on strength we might injure ourselves or make ourselves dull; when we are too sensitive then it we might lose stamina and endurance and feel afraid of challenging ourselves. When we balance strength and sensitivity in our practice, we create a nourishing elixir which sustains the health of our physical body, feeds our heart and enlivens our spirit.
This daylong will include a practice of asana, pranayama (breathing practices), philosophy and chanting.
Open to all student but best for students with at least 6 months of experience of yoga practice.
Saturday, August 10th
10:00am-12:00pm - Asana and philosophy
4:00-5:30pm - Restorative and pranayama
