What is Yoga Therapy?
Iyengar Yoga offers many tools and solutions for relieving chronic pain and health issues. If you have a health problem that you seek to manage naturally, one-on-one yoga with a qualified and experienced teacher can be especially beneficial.
For your private yoga session, your teacher will a create customized practice sequence, skillfully use props in simple to elaborate setups (to allow holding each pose to be comfortable), and provide helpful hands-on assistance as needed (with your consent only).

What to expect
Sessions are 50-70 minutes long and minimum commitment of three sessions is recommended. A brief health assessment is included in your first session. You will practice yoga in an appropriate way for your particular health issue(s), and you will learn practices that you can do at home to get relief on your own and keep progressing.
